24-Year-Old Nigerian Woman Shares Heart-Wrenching Story Of Maternal Betrayal, Neglect And Emotional Abuse That Broke Her [VIDEO]

A young Nigerian woman, Oladosu Ola Jumoke, has set social media abuzz after revealing a deeply emotional and unsettling story about her childhood, her mother’s manipulation, and the years of trauma that followed.

Her voice trembled as she shared her story in a lengthy online video, describing the painful experiences that shaped her life from adolescence into adulthood. According to Ola, her mother, who worked as a nurse, failed to give her the love and protection every child deserves. Instead, she became a source of psychological pain, manipulation, and neglect.

Ola recalled that her parents’ marriage collapsed in 2015 when she was only 14 years old. Her father, a trader in Ibadan, suffered a major financial loss after customs officials seized his goods. That single event sent the family into a spiral of hardship that would forever change their lives.

Her mother decided to leave the marriage and moved away with her other children, leaving Ola behind because she was still benefiting from a scholarship. This decision, Ola said, was the beginning of her isolation and emotional suffering.

After some time, she was reunited with her mother and siblings, but life took an even darker turn. Her mother had started a relationship with a wealthy man who provided very little support, yet constantly demanded that Ola and her sister contribute financially. According to her, her mother often pressured them to “use what they had” to attract money from men.

At just 15, Ola said she witnessed things no teenager should ever experience. She remembered how her mother would compare her and her sister to other girls who had boyfriends providing for them, suggesting that they too should find men who could meet their needs. The young girl felt confused and emotionally torn, caught between the desire for maternal approval and the growing realization that her mother’s expectations were harmful.

By age 17, Ola’s life took another tragic turn when she was introduced to an older man who was about 20 years older than her. She said her mother encouraged the relationship and even pleaded with her to accept him. “She knelt down and begged me to be with him,” Ola recounted tearfully. “She said he would take care of us and pay my school fees.”

Believing she was doing what was best for her future, Ola agreed and moved to Ibadan with the man. However, the promise of stability quickly dissolved into abuse. She endured constant beatings and emotional torment. When she tried to confide in her mother, she was told to “calm down” and even asked what she might have done to provoke the man.

The emotional wounds deepened when Ola discovered that her mother had told her father she had “run away with a man for money,” effectively severing the connection between father and daughter. For years, Ola was left to navigate pain and shame alone, convinced that her father had abandoned her.

Her breaking point came after suffering another round of abuse while pregnant. She eventually terminated the pregnancy and decided to reach out to her father, who welcomed her back with open arms. “My dad cried when he saw me,” she said softly. “He forgave me immediately, hugged me, and promised never to let me go again.”

Ola explained that her father, despite his financial struggles, did everything he could to help her rebuild her life. He sent her back to school, paid her tuition, and supported her emotionally. He even extended his efforts to her sister, ensuring both girls had the education and foundation their mother had denied them.

During her online revelation, Ola played alleged voice recordings of her mother saying, “I’m not the one who sent you to school. Your father did.” Those words, Ola said, served as a painful reminder of her mother’s indifference and lack of compassion.

She concluded her emotional narration with a message of healing and awareness. “I’m not sharing this to destroy my mother’s image,” she said. “I’m sharing it because I don’t want any child to go through what I did. No one deserves to feel unloved, unprotected, or invisible.”

Her story has since drawn widespread reactions across social media platforms, with many users expressing sympathy and admiration for her courage to speak up. Others have praised her father for standing by her despite the lies and challenges he faced.

As the video continues to circulate online, Ola’s words echo as both a personal testimony and a cautionary tale about the deep scars caused by parental betrayal. Her strength and willingness to speak openly have sparked a broader conversation about the lasting impact of childhood trauma and the need for empathy, accountability, and healing within families.
