The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has officially confirmed that Sammy West is in their custody and facing multiple criminal charges.

According to the police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, the arrest followed a petition lodged against the young entertainer for alleged criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, intimidation, theft, and cyber-bullying. The police revealed that Sammy had been invited for questioning over the petition but failed to honor the summons, prompting law enforcement officers to obtain a duly issued court warrant for his arrest. Acting on that warrant, police operatives traced him to Lagos and transferred him to Abuja for further investigations.

The police spokesperson explained that the case has already progressed to court. On November 6, 2025, Sammy West was formally charged with offenses bordering on criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, criminal intimidation, and theft. The court has since ordered his remand while awaiting the fulfillment of his bail conditions.

Amid the unfolding legal drama, Regina Daniels has taken to social media with an emotional outburst, pleading for the release of her brother. The popular actress posted a heart-wrenching video on her Instagram page where she appeared visibly distressed and tearful.
