Governor Soludo’s Administration to Roll Out Bursary for Anambra Tertiary Students

 

The Anambra State Government is set to commence the documentation of students enrolled in public tertiary institutions across the state in preparation for the rollout of a bursary scheme aimed at easing their financial burden. Governor Chukwuma Soludo made this announcement at the International Convention Centre, Awka, during a grand rally organized in his honor by students who also used the occasion to endorse his second-term bid.

During the event, the students, under the umbrella of the Joint Campus Committee (JCC), Anambra State axis, demonstrated their support for the governor’s reelection by presenting a ₦2 million cheque to him. The Chairman of JCC, Comrade Mathew Okpara, emphasized that their endorsement was borne out of the governor’s impressive track record in improving the state’s educational sector, among other key developmental strides.

Bursary Initiative to Ease Financial Struggles

Governor Soludo, addressing the enthusiastic crowd of students, reaffirmed his commitment to fostering quality education in Anambra State.
