Nollywood Star Regina Daniels Fires Back At AGN President Emeka Rollas Accusing Him Of Personal Grudge

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has publicly clashed with Actors Guild of Nigeria President, Emeka Rollas, following comments he made about her personal wellbeing. The dispute escalated after Rollas suggested that Daniels may be in need of assistance, citing observations from colleagues and family friends.

Rollas had recently stated on Instagram that several senior industry figures, including Okey Bakassi, Chinyere Wilfred, and Jide Kosoko, had witnessed Daniels’ behavior on a movie set and concluded that she required help. The AGN President also claimed that businessman Ned Nwoko had previously drawn attention to Daniels’ health issues during a family event, criticizing both her and her mother, Rita Daniels, for failing to address these concerns.

Reacting swiftly on her own Instagram account, Regina Daniels dismissed the allegations and accused Rollas of personal bitterness. She claimed the AGN President held a grudge against her after she prevented him from bringing women to her home for swimming lessons. Daniels further argued that Rollas had achieved little during his tenure, describing his activities as more focused on personal enrichment than advocating for actors’ welfare.

Daniels sharply criticized Rollas for his treatment of her mother, asserting that Rita had been instrumental in supporting his career. She wrote, “AGN President, respectfully, there must be something wrong with you sir! To say I need help? You have no business spewing nonsense about my family or my mum who always sung your praises.” She went on to highlight the lack of significant achievements in his eight years as president, pointing out that the only notable development under his leadership was a recently opened office, which had been widely criticized despite financial support from her family.

The actress further accused Rollas of exploiting high-profile men, claiming he used women to secure personal financial gain. She expressed disappointment at the discrediting of her mother’s ambitions, insisting that Rita Daniels was fully qualified to serve as a representative of actors. According to Regina, her mother’s experience and industry contributions make her an ideal candidate for leadership.

Regina Daniels concluded her statement by emphasizing the respect she once had for Rollas as a fatherly figure, attributing her admiration to her mother’s devotion and praise. She rejected the public airing of her personal matters, insisting that Rollas’ remarks were motivated by personal animosity rather than concern for her wellbeing.

The feud between Regina Daniels and Emeka Rollas has drawn widespread attention within the Nigerian entertainment industry, with many observers noting the intensity of the accusations and the deeply personal nature of the dispute. Daniels’ response underscores growing tensions within the Actors Guild, particularly regarding leadership accountability and treatment of women in Nollywood.
