Maduka University Opens 2025/2026 Admissions with Affordable Fees Across Diverse Programmes

Maduka University, located in the heart of Enugu, has officially commenced the registration of candidates seeking admission for the 2025/2026 academic session. With the recent release of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), the university is now calling on qualified applicants to take advantage of its admission opportunities across a broad array of undergraduate programmes.

The institution, known for its commitment to academic excellence and innovation, confirmed that its cut-off mark aligns with the minimum benchmark approved by JAMB for this academic cycle. This paves the way for thousands of eligible candidates to apply to its diverse faculties and schools.

Aspiring students will find a wide selection of programmes spread across several schools, including the School of Business and Social Sciences, School of Computing and Engineering, College of Medical Sciences, School of Health Sciences, School of Pharmacy, and the School of Law.

Students interested in technological fields can choose from courses under the School of Computing, such as Computer Science, Cyber Security, and Software Engineering, all of which carry a tuition fee of ₦690,000. Engineering hopefuls are also catered for, with disciplines like Civil, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics, and Computer Engineering, each priced at ₦690,000.

For those with ambitions in the business, media, or international sectors, the School of Business and Social Sciences offers Accounting, Economics, Mass Communication, International Relations, and Transport Management — each with a fee of ₦650,000.

The medical and health sciences fields at Maduka University offer more specialized programmes. Students interested in Medicine and Surgery will pay ₦3,500,000, reflecting the comprehensive nature of medical training. Other health-related courses such as Nursing and Pharmacy are priced at ₦1,100,000, while programmes like Public Health, Physiotherapy, Radiography, and Medical Laboratory Science stand at ₦690,000.

Law, a discipline with increasing interest among Nigerian students, also features prominently on the list. The Law programme carries a tuition and accommodation fee of ₦1,100,000, matching those of Nursing and Pharmacy, and reflecting the intensive nature of legal training at the university.

Prospective students with an eye on alternative entry routes can enroll in the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) programme. This preparatory course, which runs for two semesters, is offered at ₦650,000. Notably, IJMB students are required to make a one-time payment, while students admitted into the degree programmes have the option of paying in two instalments: 60% initially and 40% later.

Admission processing involves an application form fee of ₦5,000, and a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦50,000 for all admitted candidates. Students are responsible for their own feeding, which follows a "pay-as-you-eat" system, allowing flexibility and affordability.

The administration of Maduka University emphasizes that there are no hidden charges. This transparent approach to fees and financial commitment is expected to encourage more students and parents to consider the institution as a viable academic option.
