NYSC 2025 Batch C Orientation Begins November 19, Corps Members Urged To Complete Registration Safely On Time

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced that the 2025 Batch C Orientation Course will commence on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, across orientation camps in all states and the Federal Capital Territory. Prospective corps members are expected to complete their camp registration between Wednesday, November 19, and midnight on Friday, November 21, 2025, according to the scheme’s latest statement.

NYSC made this information public through a statement signed by its Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu. The announcement highlights that the swearing-in ceremony for the new batch is scheduled for Friday, November 21, while the closing ceremony will take place on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Prospective corps members are being urged to adhere to all safety measures, with the Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, advising against night travel to ensure their safety during the journey to the camps.

Earlier reports revealed that the scheme had released call-up numbers for 2025 Batch C prospective corps members. NYSC confirmed the release on its official X handle, noting that call-up numbers were assigned based on registration order. This measure ensures that prospective corps members can efficiently track their registration status and prepare for camp deployment without delays.

The scheme further explained that due to the limited capacity of orientation camps across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, only about 40 per cent of registered prospective corps members will be accommodated for the upcoming orientation programme. This limitation has prompted the NYSC to reassure those who are unable to secure placement in Batch C that they will be deferred to the next exercise. The assurance aims to reduce anxiety among prospective corps members and provide clarity on their participation timeline.

Authorities have emphasized the importance of timely arrival at the orientation camps to avoid last-minute complications. Prospective corps members are encouraged to follow all registration guidelines, carry relevant documents, and adhere strictly to the instructions provided by camp officials. The NYSC management has reiterated its commitment to ensuring a smooth orientation process while maintaining the safety and welfare of all corps members.

The 2025 Batch C orientation promises to continue the tradition of introducing young Nigerians to national service and fostering unity, discipline, and skill development. Through its structured programme, the NYSC aims to prepare corps members for community service assignments while instilling a sense of civic responsibility and national pride. With registration set to begin on November 19, all eyes are on the orientation camps as the next generation of youth leaders prepares for service to the nation.
