Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo Claims To Have Conducted Over Seventy Mass Burials Amid Rising Christian Persecution

 

Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, a leading cleric from Plateau State, has revealed shocking details about the ongoing violence targeting Christians in Nigeria. The pastor stated that he has presided over more than seventy mass burials resulting from attacks by extremist groups, some of which left as many as five hundred people dead in a single night. These revelations came during a candid interview with British journalist Piers Morgan, where Dachomo painted a grim picture of religious persecution in the country.

The clergyman accused the Nigerian government of ignoring the plight of Christians, claiming that the authorities have minimized the attacks due to the influence of Islamic interests within political structures. According to Dachomo, the scale of the killings is so severe that the government has failed to provide adequate recognition or protection for the victims, leaving entire communities devastated and displaced.

Dachomo also linked the creation of Boko Haram, the notorious terrorist group, to some high-ranking government officials. He alleged that the organization was initially designed to remove former President Goodluck Jonathan from power, who is a Christian, and to replace him with a Muslim counterpart. This, he argued, was part of a calculated effort to destabilize Christian leadership and further marginalize the Christian population across Nigeria.

Many villages reportedly experienced large-scale riots and attacks, causing thousands of residents to flee for safety. The pastor described these assaults as deliberate strategies aimed at eradicating Christian communities. He recalled that Jonathan himself had expressed the futility of his blood being shed amid the violence, highlighting the deep frustration and helplessness felt by Christian leaders and citizens alike.

According to Dachomo, the mass burials he has conducted are not isolated incidents but part of a widespread pattern of attacks that have continued for years.
